In 1999, there were no crew members. There were lots of friends that helped out. You can read more about them in the 1999 Season Recap.
In 2000, the crew consists of Tom Hangartner, Don Simmonson, Rick Smith, Ryan and Cam Hohimer. The biggest support has come from my loving family, Laura Curtis, Cara Curtis and Marlene Dick.
Tom is an excellent worker and a great welder. Without Tom's help and connections with local businesses, the 2000 Black Dog Race Car, (a 1981 Toyota Celica) would just be a dream. Tom has helped make the car a reality.
The result of Tom's help and a little luck brought us a
Trophy Dash win and a Main Event win for the first race.

Tom also races a Toyota Celica in the Mini Stock Division at the Tri-City Raceway.
During the middle of the season Tommy introduced me to Don Simmonson at Simmonson Automotive. Don has been a tremendous help in showing me how to assemble well balanced engines. Don introduced me to Rick Smith who used to drive Don Simmonson's Late Model Dodge at TCR. Rick and Don helped me set up the car suspension and castor/camber.
Ryan and Cam Hohimer help me out at the Track with tire temperature, tire pressure, and tire stagger measurements and recording the numbers. This work is critical for making the right decisions for tire pressure changes to make the car handle better.
Chance and Heath (from Brian Lambert's crew) also help at the track during emergency situations like changing wheels after a wreck.
